Davis Fundi Ireri

Davis Fundi Ireri has worked in the biotechnology and agricultural industries since 2015. In 2021, they began their current role as R&D Manager and Acting Nutritionist at Nutrition Technologies, a biotechnology company focused on reintroducing insects into the global food supply chain. From 2017 to 2021, they worked at Sanergy as a Market Development Manager, Research and Development Specialist, and Research and Development Fellow. In 2016, they were a Dissertation Research/Research assistantship at ICIPE - International Centre of Insect Physiology and Ecology, where they focused on the behavioural and chemical ecology of plants and insects. In 2015, they had two roles: Research Assistant at Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology and Product Development & Agronomy at Agrosolutions Kenya Ltd.

Davis Fundi Ireri obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Horticulture from Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology in 2014, and a Master's Degree in Plant Health Science and Management from the same institution in 2018. Additionally, they have a certification in Statistical methods and data analysis from the International center of Insect Physiology and Ecology (ICIPE).
