Amy Hoerter has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Amy started their career as a Raft guide and reservation specialist at Performance Tours Rafting in 1997. In 1999, they left and joined Vail Resorts as a Ski Pro, where they spent 5 years as a Children's program supervisor. Amy then worked as the Owner of Sow's Ear Boutique from 2004 to 2007, where they traveled and imported products from South East Asia. In 2005, they founded and became the Owner of Hoerter Group LLC, managing the career of Jaxin Hoerter. From 2010 to 2011, they worked as a Coach at Woodward at Copper, specializing in ski and snowboard freestyle training. In the same period, they also became the Managing Partner of Lil' Jibbers, a company started by an 11-year-old, where they served as their assistant. Amy worked as a Sales Associate at Under Armour in 2016 and as a Brand Ambassador at nuun hydration starting in 2019. Most recently, they became a Brand Ambassador for Dirtbag Runners in 2020. Additionally, Amy has been a Blogger for The Skiers Mom since 2012.
Amy Hoerter completed their Bachelor of Arts degree in Geography/Urban Development at the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater from 1990 to 1994. In addition, they have obtained several certifications including Precision Nutrition Coach 1 from Precision Nutrition in June 2019 and Mountain Bike Instructor from the Bike Instructor Certification Program (Formerly IMBA ICP) in October 2019. Amy has also pursued certifications in skiing and snowboarding, including Alpine Level 2, Childrens Specialist 2, Freestyle Level 1, and Telemark Level 2 through the PSIA - AASI Professional Ski Instructors of America - American Association of Snowboard Instructors.
