Evelyn Shu

Evelyn Shu has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Evelyn is currently the Director of Financial Planning & Analysis at Nuvation Bio, a position they have held since January 2023. Prior to that, they were the Associate Director of Financial Planning & Analysis at the same company from July 2021 to January 2023. Before joining Nuvation Bio, Evelyn worked at Bayer Pharmaceuticals for a significant part of their career. Evelyn held the role of Senior Manager of Financial Planning and Analysis, where they led and drove the planning and forecasting processes for the Pharma Division West Coast. Evelyn also managed monthly reporting and analysis processes and led the Transfer Pricing process at the Berkeley site. Earlier in their career, Evelyn worked at Tianyi Securities as the Manager/Director of Strategic Planning & Global Communications, where they played a crucial role in building business partnerships with foreign financial institutions. Evelyn also led a team in planning and executing corporate development strategies and successfully entered into strategic alliance agreements. Evelyn began their career at Boston Scientific as a Senior Financial Analyst in the Corporate Finance department, where they performed financial analysis to support organizational restructuring and company mergers and acquisitions. Evelyn also streamlined and enhanced the monthly closing process.

Evelyn Shu holds a Master of Science (MS) degree in Finance from Boston College Carroll School of Management. Evelyn also earned a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree in Accounting from the University of Massachusetts Amherst. In addition, they obtained a certification in "The Six Morning Habits of High Performers" from LinkedIn in 2021.
