Adam Sherer

Adam Sherer is an experienced finance professional with over 17 years in risk management and investment oversight. Currently serving as Vice President - Market Risk Officer at Nuveen since June 2012, Adam evaluates the risk profiles of 200 mutual funds and engages with senior management and governance committees through presentations and policy updates. Previous roles at Nuveen included positions as Vice President - Investment Risk Senior Manager and Vice President - Investment Oversight, where Adam led due diligence for a significant fixed income portfolio. Prior to Nuveen, Adam gained experience at Allstate Investments, LLC, and AEGON USA REALTY, focusing on commercial mortgage-backed securities and real estate capital markets. Adam holds an MBA in Finance and Real Estate from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign and a BA in Finance and International Business from the University of Northern Iowa.
