Alexander Soto

Alexander Soto is an accomplished legal professional with extensive experience in asset management and financial services. Currently serving as Managing Director and Associate General Counsel at Nuveen since October 2015, Alexander provides legal support for international office establishment and the distribution of alternative investments to various investor types. Previous roles include Vice President and Associate General Counsel - International, and Counsel, AVP at TIAA Global Asset Management, where Alexander advised on foreign securities regulations and negotiated critical contracts. Prior to Nuveen, Alexander held leadership roles at Strategic Financial Group Inc. and Fifth Third Bank, enhancing operational efficiency and compliance within the banking sector. Alexander's academic credentials include a B.A. from The Ohio State University and a Juris Doctorate from Charlotte School of Law.
