Barb Withers

Barb Withers has extensive experience in the financial services industry, currently serving as Managing Director and Head of Global Sales and Advisor Development Strategy at Nuveen since June 2011. With additional roles at Nuveen, including Head of Retail Client Marketing and Senior Vice President of Channel Marketing, Barb has developed strategic marketing and distribution plans for major broker-dealers and executed customized campaigns. Prior experience includes serving as Senior National Account Project Manager at Invesco Ltd. and holding various leadership positions at Van Kampen Investments, where responsibilities included overseeing teams and managing key relationships with broker-dealers. Barb holds a Bachelor of Arts and a Master's degree (ABT) in Communications from Wayne State University.
