Lara Devieux

Lara Devieux, CFA, currently serves as Senior Managing Director and Head of Insurance Advisory & Product at Nuveen, a TIAA company, since May 2022. Previously, Lara held the title of Managing Director, Head of Insurance Advisory & Solutions at MetLife Investment Management from January 2020 to June 2022. Prior roles include Chief of Staff for Investments at MetLife from August 2016 to January 2020, and Vice President in Global Investment Research at Goldman Sachs from April 2015 to June 2016, specializing as a sell-side insurance credit research analyst. Earlier experience includes serving as Director of Global Credit Research at MetLife from May 2009 to March 2015, and a Hedge Fund Analyst at Fontana Capital. Lara's career began at Wachovia Securities, where the role was Vice President of Equity Research from March 2002 to May 2007. Education includes a degree in Economics and Finance from The Wharton School, achieved between 1994 and 1998, following graduation from Marlboro High School in 1994.
