Chief Administrative Officer at Nuveen

Loran is Chief Administrative Officer of Nuveen. In this role, Loran is responsible for business management, resource and strategic planning. She acts as trusted counsel to the CEO and the firm’s leadership team, synthesizing the needs across the enterprise to support the execution of strategic initiatives and associated business plans. Loran plays a central role advising and orchestrating strategic points of view; anticipating and identifying critical issues impacting the industry and firm; and facilitating information flow to drive efficient decision making by Nuveen’s leadership team. As part of her role, she also manages connectivity and information flow across senior leadership and the broader organization, including Nuveen’s investments, distribution, communications and corporate functions. Loran also leads efforts to develop narratives to provide transparency and articulate the firm’s business strategy to the Nuveen Corporate Board and TIAA leadership.

Prior to joining the firm in 2015, Loran worked as a consultant, serving advisory and restructuring / turnaround clients within financial services.

Loran graduated with a B.B.A. and M.B.A. in Finance from the University of Texas at Austin, McCombs School of Business.
