Mikal Lewis

Mikal Lewis is a Director of Proptech and Innovation at Nuveen, a TIAA company, since May 2022. Previously, Mikal served as an Investor at DBL Partners from July 2021 to May 2022 and as a Fellow and Strategic Advisor to Governor Ned Lamont of Connecticut from July 2020 to July 2021, focusing on initiatives in economic development, broadband, climate, transportation, and COVID-19 response. Mikal held positions at Energy Impact Partners as a Summer Associate in Mobility and Transportation in 2019, and at Shell from October 2011 to April 2018, where responsibilities included roles as Solvents Advisor Americas, Finance Advisor for Capital Projects, and Regional Finance Advisor for Marine Products. Mikal holds an MBA from Harvard Business School and a BBA in Finance from Georgia Southern University.
