Filippos Klironomos is a Bioinformatics Data Scientist at Nuvisan Pharma Services since June 2021. Previously, Filippos served as a Research Scientist at Charité from October 2017 to December 2020, focusing on analyzing single-cell and bulk omics NGS data and developing a machine learning model for predicting neuroblastoma patient drug responses. Filippos has extensive experience as a Postdoctoral Researcher at institutions such as the Max Delbrück Center, where analysis of various sequencing data was conducted, and the Institute of Theoretical Physics at the University of Cologne, with a focus on heritable epigenetics and population genetics. Early research work included theoretical and computational models in condensed matter physics at the Ecole normale supérieure de Lyon and UC Riverside. Filippos holds a PhD in Condensed Matter and Materials Physics from the University of Florida and a BS in Physics from the University of Crete.
