Francesca-Maria Raffaelli

Francesca-Maria Raffaelli is an Associate Scientist at NUVISAN The Science CRO since November 2022, with a strong background in molecular endocrinology and metabolic research. Previously, Francesca-Maria held the position of Researcher PhD Candidate at Universität zu Lübeck from February 2017 to October 2022, focusing on dopamine signaling in thermogenic adipose tissue as part of the GRK 1957 program. Additional experience includes research collaborations at the University of Vienna, internships at the Hudson Institute of Medical Research, University of Illinois at Chicago, and various research assistant roles at Technische Universität Dresden, contributing to significant studies on inflammation, gene expression, and proteomics related to adipose tissue and metabolism. Francesca-Maria holds a PhD from Universität zu Lübeck, a Master's in Medicinal Chemistry from the University of Illinois Chicago, and a Master's and Bachelor's in Biology and Molecular Biotechnology, respectively, from Technische Universität Dresden.
