Hemantkumar Aiyer

Hemantkumar Aiyer has built an extensive career in research and development, starting as a Research Fellow at the Indian Institute of Science in 1991. Hemantkumar went on to hold positions such as Postdoctoral Fellow at the Tokyo Institute of Technology, Researcher at the Japan Science and Technology Corporation, and Research Scientist at General Electric. Over the years, they progressed to leadership roles, including Senior Scientist at Laird Technologies, Chairman at the Institution of Engineering and Technology UK, and Assistant Vice President at Aditya Birla Science & Technology Centre. Currently, they serve as Vice President and Head of R&D at Nuvoco Vistas Corp. Ltd. Their expertise spans across various industries and their career reflects a strong focus on technology innovation and scientific research.

Hemantkumar Aiyer holds a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) with a specialization in Operations from United Business Institutes, Belgium, Europe (2013). Prior to that, they obtained a Ph.D in Materials Science from Indian Institute of Science (IISc) from 1991 to 1997, and a Master of Science in Physics with Electronics specialization from Mangalore University from 1988 to 1990.
