Jacob George

Jacob George is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in strategic planning and procurement, currently serving as Head of Planning and RMX Procurement at Nuvoco Vistas Corp. Ltd. since April 2014. Jacob has been instrumental in developing procurement strategies for approximately 55 RMX plants nationwide and has showcased strong competencies in strategic sourcing, vendor management, contract negotiation, and cost reduction. Previous roles include Head of Strategy and EA to the Managing Director, where responsibilities encompassed leading the acquisition of Emami Cement and coordinating the company's stock exchange listing. Jacob's experience also includes positions as AGM - EA to the MD and Senior Manager, focusing on strategic objectives and business transformation within the cement industry. Earlier career experiences include a Research Analyst role at CRISIL Limited and Deputy Project Manager at CMI FPE LTD. Jacob holds a Post Graduate degree in Finance from the Indian Institute of Management Mumbai and a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Mumbai.
