Donatas Savickis has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Donatas started their career as a Programmer at Sonex Sistemos in 2000, where they developed integrated e-commerce web applications. Donatas then joined Alna Software in 2002, initially as a Senior Software Developer and later as a Technical Lead, responsible for the architecture, design, and development of enterprise web applications. During their time at Alna Software, they also participated in software development process improvement activities and was a member of the Core Team for implementing Critical Chain Project Management.
In 2007, Donatas worked as an Independent Consultant for various companies, where they provided architecture assessment, application architecture, development, and deployment services for J2EE enterprise web applications and Java/.NET integration projects. Donatas also managed technical teams both onsite and offshore for companies based in Lithuania, USA, and the EU.
In 2009, they joined PlanHorizon as a Senior Consultant and later became the Branch Manager in Kaunas, a role they held until 2019. At PlanHorizon, they were responsible for providing consulting services, specializing in architecture assessment and development of SOA solutions.
In 2015, Donatas became the Co-Owner of Vingiu Dubingiu Aludė, a role they held until 2021.
In 2019, they joined Ore.lt as a Webmaster for a Lithuanian web magazine specializing in music, art, and culture.
Currently, Donatas serves as the Chief Information Officer (CIO) at nuvolax, a position they started in January 2022. Donatas also holds the role of Country Manager at nuvolax since December 2019.
Donatas Savickis obtained their Master's degree in Informatics from Kaunas University of Technology, where they studied from 1996 to 2005. In addition to their formal education, Donatas has obtained several certifications. In October 2019, they became a Certified Implementation Specialist in Customer Service Management, Field Service Management, and Project Portfolio Management from ServiceNow. In February 2016, they acquired the Oracle Hyperion Planning 11 Certified Implementation Specialist certification. Furthermore, in May 2012, Donatas completed a course on Game Theory from Coursera.
