Owen Hughes has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Owen is currently working at Nuvolax as the Head of Innovation since May 2023. Prior to that, they were a Member at PreSales Collective, where they aimed to elevate the role of PreSales professionals globally. In 2022, Owen worked as the Senior Director of Partner Solutions Consulting at Pegasystems, but due to downsizing, their tenure ended in February 2023. Owen served as the Technical Director for EMEA at MongoDB, supporting field sales, partners, and customers in implementing projects. Owen began their career at Oracle Corporation, where they held various roles, including Head of Engineered Systems Architecture, Exalogic Technology Director, Technology Director for Exadata Database Machine, and Technology Business Development Manager. Before that, they worked at Aviva Life Insurance Company as an Analyst/Programmer and at Reton Technologies as an Analyst/Programmer.

Owen Hughes completed their education at multiple institutions. Owen obtained a BSc Hons degree in Computer Application from Dublin City University from 1993 to 1998. Later, they pursued an MSc Hons degree in Technology Management from University College Dublin, studying from 2001 to 2003. In addition to their degrees, they have obtained several certifications throughout their career. These include certifications in Artificial Intelligence Foundations: Machine Learning and RPA, AI, and Cognitive Tech for Leaders from LinkedIn in August 2020. Owen also holds the ServiceNow Certified System Administrator certification from ServiceNow, obtained in November 2019 and June 2018. Additionally, they have the ITIL Foundation Certificate in IT Service Management from BCS, The Chartered Institute for IT, achieved in August 2012.
