Esther Velasco

Esther Velasco's work experience includes roles at various organizations. Esther is currently working as a Project Manager at NÜWIEL GmbH, a Hamburg-based startup that has developed an electric bike trailer. Esther is responsible for overseeing projects involving the use of the company's innovative e-trailers in last-mile operations across several European cities.

Prior to their current role, Esther worked as a Business Development Specialist for Energy projects at GFA Consulting Group GmbH. During their time there, they supported the acquisition of new projects and assisted with the management of ongoing projects in Sub-Saharan Africa.

Before that, Esther was a Junior Fundraising and Project Finance Associate at Sunkofa Energy. Esther'sresponsibilities included supporting the development and management of technical and financial proposals, coordinating with partners, and identifying potential investors.

Esther also has experience working as a Trade & Investment Consultant in the Spanish Office of Trade in Ivory Coast through an ICEX scholarship. In this role, they identified and presented business opportunities funded by Multilateral Organizations in West Africa to Spanish companies.

Additionally, Esther completed a traineeship at the Delegation of Eastern Europe and Central Asia at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Spain.

Throughout their various roles, Esther has demonstrated their ability to contribute to project management, business development, fundraising, and market analysis.

Esther Velasco's education history is as follows:

Esther Velasco obtained a Bachelor's Degree in International Studies from Universidad Carlos III de Madrid in 2014. In 2015, they attended the Arabic Institute and obtained an A1 certification in the Arabic language. In 2016 and 2017, Esther studied at UQAM | Université du Québec à Montréal, where they pursued a Baccalauréat en droit international et relations internationales (Bachelor's in International Law and International Relations).

In 2018, Esther pursued further education at ICEX-CECO and obtained an MBA in International Management. Esther also attended the International Security Observatory to participate in an International Congress about security and global terrorism, focusing on International Relations and Foreign Affairs.

In 2020, Esther enrolled in an online course at Harvard University, specializing in Energy within environmental constraints, expanding their knowledge in Environmental Studies.

Furthermore, Esther has obtained several additional certifications. In 2021, they completed the Financial Accounting Foundations course through LinkedIn. In 2022, they acquired certifications in project management and sustainable living habits through the Project Management Institute and LinkedIn, respectively. Additionally, in 2023, Esther became a Certified Expert in Sustainable Finance through the Frankfurt School of Finance & Management.
