Boris Idelchik

Principal Transmission Planning Engineer at NV Energy

Boris Idelchik has extensive experience in transmission planning and electrical engineering, currently serving as Principal Transmission Planning Engineer at NV Energy since August 2007, with prior roles including Staff and Senior Transmission Planning Engineer. Boris Idelchik also held the position of Senior System Planning Engineer at PSNH from October 2005 to July 2007, and worked as a Power System Analyst at Utility Consulting International from July 2002 to April 2005. Earlier in Boris Idelchik's career, significant research was conducted as a Senior Electrical Research Engineer at VNIIE from 1988 to 1997. Educationally, Boris Idelchik earned a PhD in Electrical Engineering from Moscow State Agroengineering University named after V.P. Goryachkin, and a Master's degree in Electrical Engineering from North-Caucasus State Technical University.
