William Olsen

William Olsen has extensive experience in the information technology sector, currently serving as Vice President IT/CIO at NV Energy since 1996, where responsibilities include overseeing all technologies related to networks and servers. Prior to this role, William was the Director of Infrastructure Services and Team Leader for Network Services at NV Energy. Previous experience includes a tenure at Nevada Power Company from 1988 to 1996 as a Systems Programmer and Systems Administrator, focusing on IBM mainframe maintenance and administration of AIX systems and Novell networks. William began a career in the IT field as an intern at Arizona Public Service in 1987. Academic qualifications include a Bachelor of Arts in Computer Information Systems from DeVry University and an Associate of Arts in Chemistry from Dixie State College.
