Chandler Tayek

Chandler Tayek is an experienced MLOps Engineer at NV5 since October 2022, focusing on democratizing machine learning. Prior to this role, Chandler served as a Software Engineer at GEO1: AIRBORNE LIDAR AND IMAGING, where responsibilities included building end-to-end data pipelines and managing the production codebase and AWS cloud environment. Earlier experience includes a position as a Machine Learning Research Assistant at Charles R. Drew University of Medicine and Science, contributing to the publication of a machine learning paper on diabetic retinopathy and training predictive models. Additional experience encompasses IT Infrastructure Intern at Electric Insurance Company, overseeing data center upgrades and VPN access deployment, and a Software Engineer Internship at Wizdom, where Chandler created an interactive blog. Chandler holds a Master’s degree in Computer Science from the University of Massachusetts Amherst and two Bachelor's degrees in Computer Science and Applied Mathematics from Endicott College.
