Tracey Shinsato has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies and roles. Tracey started their career at Goodwill Industries in 1988, where they served as the Vice President of Retail/Operations. In this role, they oversaw the retail operation and was responsible for strategic planning, budget development, and staff development. From 2000 to 2001, Tracey worked as the Service Center Manager at AAA Washington, where they supervised the operation of a full-service travel agency and managed a team of travel agents. Tracey then joined Informatics in 2001 as the HR Manager/Project Manager, where they managed HR activities for over 150 employees and served as a project manager for contracts in Oak Ridge, Tennessee, and Amarillo, Texas. In 2003, Tracey worked at ATL International as the Case Tracking/Quality Control Supervisor for the NIOSH Dose Reconstruction Project. Here, they directed activities associated with external dose reconstruction and supervised quality control personnel. In 2004, Tracey joined NV5 as the Vice President/Division Manager for the NIOSH Operations and Support Services and Training Division. In this role, they managed and led diverse teams across the country and served as the Project Manager for the company's largest project. Currently, Tracey holds the position of Sr. Vice President/Business Unit Leader at NV5, where they are responsible for leading the development and implementation of the strategic plan and overseeing the overall success of the Dade Moeller business unit. Tracey engages with talent, sets performance and technical objectives, maintains key client relationships, and fosters a high-performance culture. Tracey is also involved in budgeting, forecasting, and P&L reviews with company leadership and identifies key growth initiatives for the business unit.

Tracey Shinsato completed their high school education at LCHS. Tracey then went on to obtain an Associate of Arts degree in Psychology from Briar Cliff University in 1996. Following that, they pursued a Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management from the same university, graduating in 1998. In 2017, Tracey earned a Master of Science degree in Management and Leadership from Western Governors University. Additionally, they briefly studied Accounting at Western Iowa Tech Community College in 1987.
