Cody Smit

Cody Smit's work experience includes roles at NVA Canada as a Pricing Specialist from May 2023 to present. Prior to that, they worked at PetSmart as a Senior Pricing Analyst from January 2019 to April 2023, during which they led and implemented pricing strategies, analyzed data for optimal pricing decisions, and maintained competitive intelligence. Cody also worked as a Pricing Analyst at PetSmart from January 2017 to January 2019, handling pricing execution and store-level issues. Before PetSmart, they worked at ArcelorMittal Dofasco as a Sourcing Analyst/Asset Management Coordinator from May 2014 to September 2015, autonomously recovering value from surplus assets. Cody also gained experience as a Teaching Assistant at McMaster University from January 2014 to April 2014 and as a Customer Service Representative at Scotiabank from June 2013 to April 2014. Their earliest work experience was as a Grocery Supervisor at FreshCo. from November 2008 to June 2013, where they managed inventory, trained new employees, and ensured consistent service.

Cody Smith attended McMaster University from 2011 to 2015 where they completed an Honours Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com.) degree with a focus on Finance and Accounting. Cody also pursued a minor in Economics during their time there.
