Guus Verweij

Guus Verweij is currently serving as the Vice Chair of the Faculty Council of Engineering Technology at the University of Twente, where representation of students and staff is prioritized, along with advisory roles to the faculty management on various matters. In addition, Guus is a member of the TNO student panel at NVAO, responsible for assessing the accreditation of new programs. Previous roles include Officer of Educational Affairs for Study Association ConcepT, a Mathematics Teacher through an internship at Het Stormink - Etty Hillesum Lyceum, and a tutor for StudyWorks B.V. Guus has experience in customer service as a Sales Employee at Phone House Nederland and held mentoring positions at the University of Twente. Educational achievements include a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, a minor in Mathematics Education, and a VWO diploma from Ludger College.
