Sander van Egmond

Sander Van Egmond is an accomplished theatre director and educator with a diverse range of roles in the performing arts. Currently serving as a director at Toneelgroep Maastricht, philharmonie zuidnederland, and Cultuurfestival Spectaculo Geleen, Sander also holds the position of artistic leader at Cultuurfestival Spectaculo Geleen. Additional contributions include being a panel member for NVAO and a freelance artist with Ikaros Theater en Film. As a presenter for the project #Sander zoekt het uit, Sander creates social media videos in collaboration with Screen Visuals. Sander's teaching experience includes being a theatre instructor at Alles is Drama and previously at Zuyd Hogeschool, where Sander also held the role of vice-chair of the central participation council. Sander's academic background includes pursuing a Master of Arts in Theatre at Zuyd Hogeschool, following earlier studies in Theatre Directing and Theatre Education at the same institution, and a Bachelor's degree in Geography Education.
