Elin Sandnes currently serves as a Rådgiver at Norges vassdrags- og energidirektorat, having held the role since November 2022. Previously, Elin was a Førstekonsulent in the energy and concessions department at the same organization. Prior experience includes working as a Servitør at DNT Kobberhaughytta and a Graduate Research Fellow at the Fridtjof Nansen Institute, focusing on electrification strategies in Nepal. Elin has also contributed as a Research Assistant at Universitetet i Oslo on projects related to personal values and climate change, participated in a summer internship at DNV on floating offshore wind, and held various positions including intern at Multiconsult and trainee at the Royal Norwegian Embassy in Seoul. Elin holds a Master's degree in Human Geography from the University of Oslo and has completed studies in Development Studies and an exchange program at Seoul National University.
