Brian Frackelton

Brian Frackelton has a diverse work experience spanning several industries and roles. Brian is currently serving as the Vice President of Technology at nVent, where they are responsible for R&D, technology roadmaps, and business and new product development. Brian also leads the technology vision and execution for the EFS segment, including the software and IoT strategy. Prior to this, they worked at Fortune Brands Innovations as the Director of Engineering - IoT Product Development and the Senior Connected/IoT Platform Manager. In these roles, they played a significant role in guiding the company's expansion into the IoT space and overseeing various aspects of design, engineering, and organizational transformation. Before joining Fortune Brands Innovations, Brian was the Operating Owner at Clocking Edge, LLC, where they successfully developed and expanded a flagship product in fertility planning. Additionally, they gained experience in engineering project management and new product development at Tektronix, and they contributed to hardware and software design as a staff and senior design engineer at Keithley Instruments. Brian also has experience as a business manager at Ohio Brewing Technologies, LLC, and as a video network engineer at The University of Akron.

Brian Frackelton completed a Bachelor's degree in Engineering in Electrical/Computer Engineering from The University of Akron in 2003. Brian further pursued a Master's degree in Engineering in Electrical/Computer Engineering from Case Western Reserve University, which they completed in 2010.
