Yang Yu

Yang Yu, P.Eng, CLA, MSc., currently serves as a Test Architect/Lead Developer at nVent since November 2017, with expertise in designing and maintaining automated electromechanical test systems. Prior experience includes roles as a Production Engineer and Product Development Engineer at Boreal Laser Inc., where significant contributions encompassed product transition, cost reduction, and development of advanced greenhouse gas monitoring systems. Yang's background also includes field service and lab supervision at Coherent, with a focus on laser systems, as well as leading machine vision projects at Pansino China. Yang holds a Master of Science in Photonics from the University of Alberta and a Bachelor's degree in Information Engineering from Beijing Institute of Technology.
