Abhijit Paithankar

Abhijit Paithankar is an accomplished technology leader with extensive experience in artificial intelligence and high-performance computing. Currently serving as the AI & HPC Engineering Tech Lead and Manager at NVIDIA since July 2020, Abhijit also holds the title of Senior Architect. Previously, Abhijit co-founded Crave.io Inc. as CTO, developing a scalable serverless computing platform. Abhijit's career includes significant roles at Nutanix, where Abhijit led the Nutanix Containers project, and at Arkin Net, where Abhijit contributed to the development of real-time data center analytics. With a foundational background at VMware, Akamai Technologies, and other firms, Abhijit possesses deep expertise in system architecture and software engineering. Abhijit holds coursework in Information Retrieval and Web Search from Stanford University and a Bachelor of Engineering in Industrial Electronics from Savitribai Phule Pune University.
