Ziyue Xu

Ziyue Xu is a Senior Scientist at NVIDIA since October 2018, specializing in advanced algorithms and computer vision. Prior experience includes roles at the National Institutes of Health from June 2012 to September 2018, where Ziyue focused on medical image processing and biomedical visualization as a Staff Scientist and Lab Manager in the Center for Infectious Disease Imaging. Ziyue was awarded the Fellows Award for Research Excellence during this tenure. Earlier experiences involve a Research Assistant position at the University of Iowa, contributing to algorithm design in medical imaging, an R&D internship at GE Global Research with a focus on coronary vessel tracking systems, an internship at Cisco Systems managing customer databases, and research at Tsinghua University in SAR image simulation. Ziyue holds a Ph.D. in Computer Engineering from the University of Iowa and a B.E. in Information Electronics Engineering from Tsinghua University.
