Christopher von Jako

Dr. von Jako is President, CEO at NinePoint Medical and has more than 20 years experience in medical devices. Dr. von Jako is formerly the CEO and Board Director at NeuroTherm, a privately held medical device company that develops, manufactures and markets state-of-the-art minimally invasive solutions for pain management in Spine. He has served as Vice President of Marketing at Integra LifeSciences and has been director of Sales at Covidien (acquired by Johnson & Johnson), two publicly traded medical device companies. Dr. von Jako also has an excellent track record with start-ups, having served as General Manager and Executive VP at Odin Medical Technologies (acquired by Medtronic) and President and Board Director at Activiews (acquired by Stryker). Most recently, Dr. von Jako has successfully negotiated a $200M agreement to sell NeuroTherm to St. Jude Medical. Dr. von Jako has a Ph.D. in Biomedical Sciences and a Masters from M.I.T. in Cambridge, Massachusetts.
