Fedor Jelezko has broad expertise in several fields of experimental physics including quantum physics, bio-photonics, biochemistry, and material science. Most notably, he has pioneered the field of Nitrogen-Vacancy centers and quantum processing in diamonds, used in leading research groups and industrial teams world-wide. He is a World Wide top cited in Physics in 2015-2018, and holds five patents related to diamond technologies. His research was awarded several prizes including a Zeiss Research award. Fedor Jelezko has substantial experience leading major collaborative projects in the fields of diamond-based quantum nanotechnologies and is a principal investigator of the €10 million ERC Synergy Grant “Diamond Quantum Devices and Biology” (BioQ)
