Thomas Ailianos possesses extensive experience in the field of cybersecurity, currently serving as the Head of MSS/MDR Engineering and Head of Threat Hunting and Detections at NVISO Security since January 2022. Prior to this role, Thomas worked as a SOC Manager and Senior SOC Engineer at ENCODE from May 2015 to December 2021, and served as a Managed Services Operations Officer at Obrela Security Industries from October 2011 to April 2015. Additionally, Thomas volunteered as a Security Consultant, Developer, and Researcher at the Hellenic National Defence General Staff Cyber Defense Directorate from 2009 to December 2014. Thomas has also contributed to academia as a lecturer at the University of Athens and gained early experience as a System Administrator at Athens University of Economics and Business. Educational qualifications include a Master of Science in Informatics and Telecommunications Science from Ethnikon kai Kapodistriakon Panepistimion Athinon and a Bachelor of Science in Informatics from Athens University of Economics and Business.
