Gretchan Blum

Gretchan Blum currently serves as the Public Information Officer at NW Natural since September 2021. Prior experience includes roles as Senior Consultant in Public Affairs at ERM: Environmental Resources Management, and Director of Grassroots Advocacy at Northwest Credit Union Association. Additionally, Gretchan Blum held several positions within the U.S. Senate, including Professional Staff Member for the Senate Committee on Veterans' Affairs, and Foreign Policy Legislative Assistant and Aide. Earlier career experience also includes a Graduate Student Internship at the United States Senate and a fundraising role at WGBH. Educational qualifications include a Master of Arts in International Affairs focused on United States Foreign Policy from American University and a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and Spanish from Union College.
