Mary Ayala

Mary Ayala, MBA, is an experienced human resources professional with a strong background in talent acquisition and employee relations. Currently serving as an HR Administrator 3 at NW Natural since June 2022, Mary previously held roles as a Human Resources Business Partner for the City of Tigard and Washington County. In these positions, responsibilities included providing strategic HR counsel, managing full-cycle recruitment processes, and promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives. Additional experience includes serving as Applications Secretary in the Hillsboro School District, where Mary coordinated recruitment events and managed applicant tracking systems. Mary Ayala holds an MBA in Strategic Human Resources Management from George Fox University and a BA in Human Resources Management from Portland State University.
