Richard Cooper

Richard Cooper currently serves as Vice President of NW Natural Renewables since April 2022, bringing extensive experience from previous roles including Director of Business Development at DTE Energy Services from August 2001 to March 2022, and Manager at Bechtel Enterprises from 1998 to 2001. Earlier in their career, Richard contributed as a Water Engineer (Volunteer) with the Peace Corps in Nepal from 1994 to 1996, and served as Project Engineer at ERM: Environmental Resources Management from 1992 to 1994. Educational credentials include an MBA from Harvard Business School (1997-1998), a Master of Science in Environmental Engineering from Stanford University (1991-1992), and a Bachelor of Science in Civil and Environmental Engineering from the University of Michigan (1988-1991).
