Philip Acton has over 30 years of experience in finance and accounting. Philip began their career at Deloitte Haskins & Sells, where they trained as an accountant and rose to the position of Audit Senior. In 1984, they joined Scholes Group plc as Group Finance Director, responsible for financial control and reporting for the company's overseas operations and significant M&A activity. In 1995, they joined Genus plc as Chief Operating Officer - Europe and Asia, where they led a business with £149m turnover, £26m OP and 1,235 employees. During their 17-year tenure at Genus, Philip grew top and bottom line by integrating businesses across diverse geography, developed a high performing management team, captured synergies, accelerated market entry in RIC countries and rationalised developed markets. In 2012, they joined Nwf Group as Chairman.
Philip Acton has an accountancy degree from Liverpool John Moores University and a bachelor's degree from Sir John Deans Grammar School.
