Simon Townley

Simon Townley is an experienced digital information leader currently serving as the Chief Digital Information Officer at NWF Group PLC since February 2022. Prior to this role, Simon held positions at the University of Sheffield as Assistant Director of Service Delivery and Operations from September 2020 to February 2022, and at the University of Salford as Associate Director - Digital Service from December 2017 to August 2020. Simon's extensive background in IT includes leadership roles at Hermes, where responsibilities included Head of IT Service and Technical Infrastructure Manager, as well as a brief contracting stint at CFS. Simon's career began at Littlewoods Shop Direct Group, serving as Technical Services Principal for nearly two decades.
