Brittany Jones

Site Engagement Associate - Indigenous Engagement at NWMO

Brittany Jones has a diverse work experience that spans across multiple organizations and roles. Brittany started their career in 2011 with the Native Women's Association of Canada, where they held the position of Strategic Partnership Agreement Coordinator/National Youth Coordinator until 2014. Brittany then joined the Independent First Nations as a Risk Management Capacity Development Advisor from 2014 to 2016. In 2017, Brittany started working at the Saugeen Ojibway Nation Environment Office as a Community Engagement Coordinator until 2019, and later as an Energy Associate from 2019 to 2021. Their most recent role is at the Nuclear Waste Management Organization, where they currently work as a Site Engagement Associate - Indigenous Engagement from November 2021 onwards.

Brittany Jones obtained their Bachelor's Degree in Sociology and English from Wilfrid Laurier University. Brittany attended the university from 2005 to 2010.
