Brittany Misurec has a wide range of work experience in various legal and research roles. Brittany most recently worked as a Legal Counsel for the Nuclear Waste Management Organization. Prior to that, they served as the Director for the Lands and Resources Department at Six Nations of the Grand River. Brittany also worked as an Articling Student at Dickinson Wright Canada, where they gained experience in corporate law, Indigenous law, bankruptcy, real estate, and employment. Additionally, they were a Summer Associate at Dickinson Wright PLLC, conducting research in areas such as Aboriginal law, environmental law, commercial law, gaming law, and intellectual property law. Brittany has also worked at the Ontario Ministry of the Attorney General as a Legal Student, Osgoode Hall Law School as a Research Assistant, and Anishinabeg Outreach as a Research Assistant. Furthermore, they have experience as a Lease Coordinator & Front Desk Receptionist at Luxe Waterloo, where they managed various tasks related to customer service and administrative duties. Lastly, they worked as an Au Pair, providing childcare assistance to children from Colombia.

Brittany Misurec earned their Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from York University - Osgoode Hall Law School between the years 2014 and 2017. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor's Degree at the University of Waterloo from 2010 to 2014. Their Bachelor's Degree was a Joint Honours in Legal Studies and Sociology with a specialization in Criminology. Additionally, in June 2018, Brittany obtained their certification as a Lawyer from the Law Society of Ontario.
