Grant Minor, P.Eng., PMP has a diverse work experience in various engineering roles. Grant started their career as an NSERC USRA Summer Student at McMaster University in 2002, where they worked on electro-optics under the supervision of Dr. Paul Jessop. In 2003, they continued their summer internship as an NSERC USRA Summer Student at The University of British Columbia, focusing on condensed matter physics under the guidance of Dr. Walter Hardy and Dr. Doug Bonn.

In 2004, Grant joined Kinectrics (formerly known as Nuclear Safety Solutions Ltd.), where they served as a Thermal Hydraulics Co-op Student. Grant then moved to Ballard Power Systems in 2007, working as a Product Development Engineer - Unit Cell until 2009.

Grant's career in the nuclear industry continued at TRIUMF in 2010, where they held the role of Remote Handling Group Leader / Nuclear Engineer. Grant worked there for a decade until 2020, gaining valuable expertise in remote handling and nuclear engineering.

Currently, Grant is employed at the Nuclear Waste Management Organization as a Senior Engineer - Used Fuel Packaging Plant, a position they have held since October 2020.

Throughout their career, Grant has demonstrated their proficiency in engineering, project management, and technical skills.

Grant Minor, P.Eng., PMP, has a strong educational background and has obtained additional certifications in their field. Grant completed their Bachelor of Engineering and Management in Engineering Physics from McMaster University from 2000 to 2005. Following that, they pursued a Master of Applied Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Victoria, studying from 2005 to 2008.

In addition to their degrees, Grant has obtained various certifications throughout their career. Grant achieved the Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) designation from both Professional Engineers Ontario in February 2021 and Engineers and Geoscientists BC in August 2010. Grant also holds the Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute, which they obtained in July 2020. These certifications showcase their commitment to professional development and their expertise in engineering and project management.
