Kofi Tettey

Project Controls: Site Selection Project at NWMO

Kofi Tettey has a diverse work experience in project controls and management. Kofi started their career as a New Grad Engineer at Kiewit in 2008. Kofi then worked as a Project Management Officer at Defence Construction Canada from 2009 to 2013, where they were involved in various projects for the Department of National Defence. Kofi joined BHP Billiton in 2013, initially as a Project Control Specialist and later as a Cost Engineer, working on the Jansen potash project in Saskatchewan. In 2016, Kofi worked as a Site Project Controls professional at Vale, specifically on the Long Harbour Nickel Processing Plant. Kofi also worked at the Nuclear Waste Management Organization in 2016 as part of the Site Selection Project. Currently, they are self-employed and actively seeking new opportunities in project controls and management across the world.

Kofi Tettey completed their Bachelor's Degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering at Dalhousie University from 2001 to 2006. Before that, they attended St Joseph's College Botswana from 1996 to 1998 for their High School education. Apart from their formal education, they also obtained a certification as a Project Management Professional from the Project Management Institute in March 2016.
