Stella Koppel is a seasoned professional in research project management and EU grant advisory roles. Currently serving as a Senior Program Manager at NWO since March 2019, Stella coordinates the Open Competition XL call, overseeing significant research funding for international consortia. Previously, Stella contributed as an EU grant advisor and project manager at the Academic Medical Center, managing multiple EU-funded projects and supporting researchers in securing funding. Earlier experience includes project management for the Virology department at Erasmus MC and academic research during a PhD at VU medisch centrum, focusing on molecular cell biology and immunology. Stella holds a degree in Medical Biology from Utrecht University.
