Colum Ferry

Colum Ferry has extensive work experience in the software engineering field. Colum is currently working as a Senior Software Engineer at Nx since May 2021. In 2023, they co-founded GrammarGuru. Prior to this, they worked at This Dot, Inc as a Software Engineer from August 2020 to April 2021. Their responsibilities included contributing to the creation and delivery of the Twilio SIGNAL Conference Platform using React, as well as leading a team in migrating an AngularJS app to Angular and adding Storybook support. From March 2020 to August 2020, they worked as a Software Engineer at AgriWebb. Colum started their career as a Graduate Software Engineer at SmashFly Technologies in October 2018 and later transitioned to an Intern Software Engineer role until February 2020. Colum also worked as a Placement Software Engineer at Civica Digital from June 2017 to September 2018.

Colum Ferry completed a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from Ulster University, studying from 2015 to 2019.
