Paul Nijenhuis

Paul Nijenhuis has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning several industries. Their most recent role is as a Project Manager and Lead Mechanical Engineer at NX Filtration, a position they started in October 2022. Prior to this, they worked at Tuinte | smart industrial solutions, where they held various roles including Head of Engineering from September 2020 to October 2022, and Senior Lead Engineer/Technical Project Leader from May 2012 to August 2020. At Tuinte, they were responsible for mechanical engineering and project management for medium to large projects in special machine construction. Before Tuinte, Paul worked as an R&D Engineer at O4 WheelChairs from May 2007 to April 2012. Paul also gained experience as a Senior Construction Engineer at NTS Mecon (Mecon Engineering) from November 1998 to April 2007, and as a Designer/Drafter at MFE Group B.V. from June 1994 to June 1998.

Paul Nijenhuis began their education at Het Stedelijk, where they completed their higher general secondary education (Havo) from 1981 to 1987. Paul then attended MTS Deventer from 1987 to 1989, focusing on Werktuigbouw constructie. After that, they enrolled at Hogeschool van Arnhem en Nijmegen (HAN) and obtained their Bachelor of Engineering degree in WTB (HTS Werktuigbouwkunde) from 1989 to 1993.
