Aurora Diamante

Aurora Diamante is a highly skilled Senior Scientist specializing in Protein Engineering at Nxera Pharma since March 2021, focusing on the stabilization of GPCRs for therapeutic drug development and creating luminescence-based characterization methods. Prior to this role, Aurora completed a brief tenure as a Research Scientist at Cambridge Cancer Genomics and gained valuable experience as a Business Development Intern within the same organization during a PhD program. Aurora also served as an Internal Analyst for Chalante, contributing to the biotech start-up's drug development initiatives. Earlier experiences include the SIPGA Studentship at A*STAR in Singapore, an Erasmus Plus project at the University of Cambridge, participation in the IMB International Summer School, and the Amgen Summer Program at Karolinska Institutet. Aurora holds a PhD in Pharmacology from the University of Cambridge, a Master's degree in Molecular and Industrial Biotechnology from Alma Mater Studiorum – Università di Bologna, and a Bachelor's degree in Biotechnology from Università degli Studi di Udine.
