Andrew Opala

Andrew Opala has a diverse work experience, starting with their current role as the CEO of NXM LABS, INC. since November 2021. Prior to that, they served as the COO of NXM LABS, INC. from April 2020 to November 2021. Additionally, they hold the position of COO/CTO at Tyze Networks Inc. since February 2020.

In terms of leadership roles, Andrew is the Chair at Altitude Accelerator since September 2021, and they have been a Director on the Board of Directors at Altitude Accelerator since October 2018. Andrew is also the Founder and Managing Partner of Preference Capital Inc. starting from May 2021.

Furthermore, Andrew is a Partner at TheMIN.ca - The Mississauga Investor Network since November 2017 and an Investor and Board Director at Startup Buzz Canada since March 2019. Andrew is also a Board Member at Redpimento Marketing Inc. from September 2017.

Beyond their professional roles, Andrew serves as the Director on the Board of Directors at Earthshine Astronomy and Space Science Organization since December 2012. Andrew is a long-time Member of the IEEE since May 2001 and a Member of RASC Mississauga Centre since 2006.

Andrew Opala completed their EMBA in Cross-Enterprise Leadership™ from the Ivey Business School at Western University between 2008 and 2010. Prior to that, they obtained a Certificate in Innovation and Entrepreneurship from the University of Toronto in 2007-2008 and a Certificate in Project Management from the same institution in 2006. Andrew pursued their B Sc studies in Astronomy and Physics from the University of Toronto - University of St. Michael's College from 1991 to 1996. Before their university studies, Opala obtained a Certificate in Pri/Com Pilot from the Brampton Flying Club in 1990-1991. Additionally, Opala participated in the Extreme Startups Accelerator, although specific dates and degrees obtained from this program are not provided.
