Michael Westenberg

Michael Westenberg has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Michael is the founder of NXT Group of Companies, where they focus on growing the company's international infrastructure and expanding the business of strategic brand and manufacturing partners. Michael also served as the Managing Director of NXT Trade Turkey, where they built the company's presence in Turkey and supported European companies with their market expansion.

In addition, Westenberg has experience in the food and beverage industry as a shareholder of DEV.PRO. Food Group, a joint venture dedicated to sourcing food ingredients for the European and US markets.

Michael has also held leadership positions in several business associations and councils, including the Netherlands-Turkey Business Council (NTBC) and the Dutch Trade and Investment Board (DTIB) - Turkey Working Group.

Furthermore, Westenberg has served on the executive board of Shimano MENAT Holding Ltd. and was a founding board member of the Dutch Business Association Turkey (DBA-TURKEY).

Earlier in their career, they held general manager roles in logistics companies such as NTG Ebrex, Rynart Transport Turkey A.S., and Rynart Transport Hungary Kft., where they were responsible for business development, operations management, and logistics operations.

Michael Westenberg completed their primary education at De Weid in Enkhuizen from 1981 to 1991. Michael then pursued their secondary education at RSG in Enkhuizen, specializing in HAVO, and graduated in 1996. Following this, Michael attended Amsterdam University of Applied Sciences from 1996 to 2000, where they obtained a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree with a focus on International Business, Trade, and Commerce.
