Jamie Richard

Jamie Richard has a diverse work experience in the field of software development. In 2005, they started as a Junior Developer at Dalhousie University - Web Authoring Group. From 2006 to 2009, they worked as a Senior Software Developer at V.1 Labs Ltd., where they were involved in the development of a customer support tool. They then joined Garvin-Allen Solutions Limited as a Software Developer in 2009, where they maintained an insurance software product and ensured software and database parity for multiple clients. In 2010, Jamie became a Solutions Developer at TeamSpace Canada, where they worked on project planning, software architecture design, and PHP software development using WordPress-based CMS. They then transitioned to SportsDirect Inc. in 2011, initially working as a Software Developer and later as a Senior Software Developer. Here, they were involved in project planning, estimation, and Java web application development. In 2015, Jamie joined Gracenote as a Senior Software Developer/Team Lead, working in a leadership role until 2017. Currently, Jamie is employed as an Sr. Software Architect at Nxtgen Care, starting in 2017.

Jamie Richard earned a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Dalhousie University from 2002 to 2007. They also obtained a certification in Machine Learning from Coursera in December 2014.
