John Joyce

John Joyce is an experienced educational leader, currently serving as School Principal at Rockland BOCES since January 2022. Previously, John held the position of English Department Chairperson and Summer School Principal at Nyack Public Schools, overseeing ELA curriculum and summer programs for grades K-6. Prior roles include Assistant Principal at Dobbs Ferry High School and a high school English teacher at North Rockland Central School District, where John received recognition as one of the "Top 10 Educators" in the region. Additionally, John taught middle school English at Clarkstown Central School District and worked as a sales associate at Parekh Chemicals USA, Inc. John holds multiple degrees, including a Bachelor of Arts in English from Boston University, a CAS in Secondary Education from St. Thomas Aquinas College, a Master of Education in Curriculum and Instruction from Fordham University, and a Master of Educational Administration from SUNY New Paltz.
