Joaquín Sánchez Gómez

Joaquín Sánchez Gómez is an accomplished economist with extensive experience in investment banking and research. Currently serving as Chief Economist at New York Bay Capital since August 2022, Joaquín previously held positions as a Research Assistant at The City University of New York and as an External Consultant for both the Banco Interamericano de Desarrollo and the International Labour Organization. Joaquín has also lectured at the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México, where involvement in academic research and consulting projects for governmental agencies and international organizations was pivotal. Joaquín holds a Master of Arts in Economics from The City University of New York and a Licenciatura in Economía from Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México.
