Benny B. Kristensen

Benny B. Kristensen has a diverse work experience spanning over several industries and roles. Benny B. started their career at Pagh Mørups Børnekonfection APS in 1976, where they were responsible for finishing, quality, packing, and shipment of children's wear. In 1986, they worked at ECCO'LET LDA as an Assistant to the Managing Director, where they organized the central warehouse and introduced stocks in ERP production planning and material provisioning system, among other responsibilities.

From 1989 to 1998, Benny was the Production Manager at Commercial Textiles Lda., during which time the company grew to become Europe's largest supplier to Calvin Klein and one of Europe's largest fashion garment suppliers.

Benny B. then served as the Factory Manager for Kwintet Group/Kansas Wenaas Workwear in Portugal from 1998 to 2000, where they improved planning and production efficiency and facilitated the production of smaller series of customized workwear.

From 2000 to 2004, Benny worked as a Consultant for Commercial Textiles, Ltd., where they focused on optimizing production processes, sourcing and developing new suppliers, and project managing the setup of new production facilities. Benny B. also consulted for Universal Textiles Ltd., where they served as a Project Manager in charge of establishing production for leading textile brands.

In 2004, Benny joined Vestergaard Frandsen SA as the Country Manager, responsible for establishing and initiating production in Asia. Benny B. then became the Production Manager for Asia, overseeing the expansion and quality assurance of the company's production in Asian countries. Benny B. played a key role in setting up new water filter assembly lines and increasing the production capacity of insecticide-treated bed nets.

In 2013, Benny joined Actona Company A/S as the Factory Manager, where they were responsible for managing daily operations. Benny B. currently serves as the COO Director of daily operations at Nybo Workwear A/S since 2018.

Throughout their career, Benny has achieved significant milestones and improvements in production efficiency, quality assurance, and market recognition.

Benny B. Kristensen began their education at Aulum byskole, where they completed their primary education up to the 9th grade. Benny B. then attended Herning Gymnasium from 1979 to 1982, where they studied mathematics and physics as a student. In 1982, Benny enrolled at TEKO Center, Herning and VIA TEKO Center, Herning, Denmark, where they obtained a B. Sc (HD) Teknonom degree specializing in textile engineering, with a focus on planning and process engineering. Their education at TEKO Center lasted from 1982 to 1985.

In addition to their studies at TEKO Center, Benny also pursued a B Sc. (HD) Merkonom degree in staff administration and management at Herning Business School from 1983 to 1986. During the same period, they also completed two modules in international purchase at Herning Business School. Furthermore, they earned a B. Sc (HD) Merkonom degree with a specialization in computer science from Herning Business School between 1983 and 1986.

Benny's educational background demonstrates their expertise in textile engineering, production management, planning and process engineering, staff administration and management, as well as computer science.
